Dr. Carsten Stolz (D/CH, Ph. D) has been Group Chief Financial Officer at Baloise Group (CFO) of Bâloise Holding AG since May 1, 2017. Dr. Stolz manages the Corporate Division Finance with its department Group Accounting & Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, Group Risk Management and Corporate IT as well as the Actuary responsible for Swiss business at Baloise and the Head of Regulatory Affairs.
After starting his career in consulting, he experienced multiple career transition in a coporate environment. He progressed from team member to team leader to leader of team leaders. He worked in projects as well as line management roles and governance functions. He has practical expertise in agile working methods in team settings as well as on scaled organizational level.
During his professional journey, Carsten has gathered 25+ years of experience in leading and developing individuals and teams. He coaches others to grow as human beings, to become more effective managers and to expand their range of consciously applied leadership skills.
